Personalized Experience
From start to finish, the owners will not only be involved, but will actually build your deck. This can eliminate many communication issues as well as minor inconveniences.
Flatter and Stiffer Deck
Lumber has imperfections – to combat this, we use planers and sanders to reduce any flaws in the lumber – creating a flatter deck, in look and feel. Many builders install joists 16” on center, we install joists 12” on center to help minimize any bounce a deck may have.
Straighter and Cleaner Cuts
There is only so much a steady hand or an experienced carpenter can do to create a clean line in a series of cuts – we have invested in the tools to create clean lines and seams in your decking that are just short of machine-like.
Low Maintenance Solutions
We specialize in low maintenance decking and railing – some products are Trex and Azek. Our goal is for your deck to look the same way year after year that it does on day one!
Deck Longevity
While maintenance-free decking and railing has a 20+ year warranty, the framing it’s fastened to is the limiting factor. Our solution is to tape all joists and beams using butyl tape to prevent any standing water from sitting on or penetrating the framing lumber. The black butyl tape is also aesthetically more appealing vs the green treated lumber showing between deck boards.
